NEC has provided solutions across the Policing sector for over 30 years, focusing on enabling officers to deliver more effective policing. We passionately support EBP but often see great ideas struggle to get beyond the academic studies that prove their efficacy into mainstream policing. We help by supporting the operationalisation and automation of those ideas so they can be deployed and utilised by frontline officers in their normal day to day activity.
For example:-
• Our Proactive Management Plans(PMPs) enable users to deal with a problem as a whole, rather than as isolated events. Users create a set of objectives and formulate action plans to address their problem, coordinate their teams as they work to address it and assess what works well, or not, to support future PMPs. It is being actively used to coordinate wide ranging challenges including Integrated Offender Management, Organised Crime Groups and Domestic Violence.
• Our Partnership platform provides a virtual, co-located environment supporting inter-agency working, transforming the way partners share information and manage priorities together. It is being used by forces to enable the important multi-agency working that many EBP studies highlight is needed to deliver effective outcomes.
• We are seeing how our Decision Trees and Question Sets capability helps forces make effective decisions for EBP use cases including the Crime solvability matrix and EBIT toolkit. These are easy to configure and intuitively lead users to complete relevant information and get support as to how to proceed.
Our solutions can work along-side existing force systems and quickly focus on solving policing problems rather than requiring a long drawn out “IT Project”.
If you want to use the power of EBP insights to make a real difference in local communities, then please engage on our virtual stand or with me directly andy.nicholls@necsws.com T:+61401447378.
