Chief Superintendent Lee Hill

Lee has thirty years’ policing experience in the Metropolitan Police Service. He has performed a number of investigative roles, working on the Homicide Command and Trident Gang Command and is responsible for devising and implementing crime prevention strategies to tackle Serious Violence. He currently leads the Violent Crime Task Force and oversees a number of violence reduction initiatives, adopting place based interventions.

He is an advocate for bridging the gap between academia and policing across a range of methodologies and is currently managing field trials in relation to Hotspot Policing, Problem Orientated Policing and Focussed Deterrence. He has a Mst in Applied Criminology and Police Management from the University of Cambridge.
