‘TESTED. RELEVANT. READY NOW’
The EPIC Technology Showcase — leading-edge tools that make policing, justice and public safety safer, smarter and fairer.
Evidence-Based · Problem-Oriented · Intelligence-Enabled for Community Safety – EPIC Conference 2027
20–22 April 2027 | Deakin University Conference Centre, Melbourne, Australia
You are invited to pitch your best work to the people who use it. EPIC 2027 brings together operational leaders, intelligence practitioners and researchers from more than 20 countries.
We expect or already have confirmed, participation from operational policing practitioners from the UK, Europe, USA, Japan, South Africa, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand and a confirmed delegation of 24 staff from across the Pacific Islands, for two days of conference and a 2 x one-day symposia on ‘problem-solving for managers and intelligence staff’ and ‘leadership in violence reduction’ (delivered in partnership with the Victorian Violence Reduction Unit).
We are curating a flagship showcase of technology that works — not roadmaps or promises, but capability that is deployable today/tomorrow and has earned the trust of the communities it serves. If that describes your product, we want you on stage.
SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT, BASED ON THE FOLLOWING THREE CRITERIA:
- Ready now. Leading-edge technology that is in the field and operational today (or tomorrow) — proven, not prototype.
- Operationally relevant. Directly supports frontline policing and the wider public safety and justice mission — regulators, courts, corrections and community safety included.
- Tested in an operational setting. Has the solution been evaluated, who did it, and what did they find?
THE FORMAT
One stage. A global audience of decision-makers. Each selected company receives a 7-minute speaking slot to present its single strongest idea to an international room of influencers, practitioners and leaders. Sharp, honest, practical intelligence/evidence-led pitches will stand out.
Conference participation. 2 x tickets to attend the full EPIC conference. An opportunity over two-days to network, listen to quality presentations and engage in debate and discussion with leading global policing and public safety practitioners.
Participation fee: AUD $4,000 for organisations with 10 or fewer employees; AUD $6,000 for organisations with more than 10 employees.
EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST
Submit a abstract (max 250 words) via the portal below naming your technology, the operational problem it solves, and why you think it will add value to our conference. We will work with short-listed participants to ensure you are well prepared and able to maximise this opportunity for your business.
