Sam is a member of the law enforcement community and in partnership with ANZPAA, he seeks to develop a wholistic approach to the deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the national policing community. Under a recent research scholarship, Sam was able to work closely with the Singapore Government to explore how they had implemented their AI Ethical Framework and this work will continue with onshore our state based and Commonwealth partners. With a strong emphasis on meaningful community engagement, Sam wants to deliver the most transparent and ethical version of AI in an effort to deliver greater community and safety outcomes.
With years of experience in Transnational and Serious Organised Crime, Alternative Criminal Communications and technology led policing, Sam seeks to bring innovation to the frontline of policing. By examining the way in which we recruit and retain our workforce, Sam hopes to use Artificial Intelligence to make the professional of law enforcement one that is both rewarding and seen to be an employer of choice.
