Research Manager, Strategic Insights Unit, Metropolitan PoliceKent McFadzien is a Research Manager currently working within the Strategic Insights Unit in the Metropolitan Police, UK. His prior policing experience includes time as a Constable in the New Zealand Police. Since leaving the New Zealand Police and moving to the UK, he has worked with several UK and international police agencies developing tools to improve police practice. He has a degree in Biology and Statistics from the University of Auckland and is currently completing a PhD in Criminology at the University of Cambridge. He is a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society in London and a member of the Society for Evidence-Based Policing. |
